Ciarán Dalton (MISCP MCSP MAACP)
Senior Chartered Physiotherapist
Ciarán Dalton is the south region clinical lead for PhysioCare. After graduating with a BSc. (Hons) degree in Brighton University, Ciarán began working in London before returning to work in Ireland. He started his private practice career with PhysioCare in our Butterfield clinic in 2006. Since then, he has worked extensively across all of our PhysioCare clinics but has since settled his patient list in the south region. Ciarán’s week is primarily taken up with treating patients however he does mentor / teach the newer team members on the south region. He primarily specialises in the management of chronic spinal problems (Low Back Pain / Neck Pain / Whiplash) as well the management of Foot and Lower Limb Pain. This has generally led him to deal with the more complex spinal pain and lower limb cases. In addition, he has been prescribing orthotics for over nine years and heads up the Orthotic department at PhysioCare.
Ciarán is a member of both the AACP (acupuncture) and the AFAP (foot and ankle) associations and utilises this by teaching the most up to date research within the clinics. He leads and has written PhysioCare’s mentor programme and aims to keep the high standard of research based treatment within the clinics. At home, Ciarán’s interests include football, golf, swimming and spending time with his family. As Ciarán maintains a busy patient list, it is advised to book your appointment early. Ciarán works from our Butterfield, Carrickmines and Rathfarnham clinics. Call us on 015310007 to book an appointment with Ciarán.
