Sarah Liddane (MISCP)
Sarah obtained her BSc (Hons) Physiotherapy degree at the University of Limerick in 2010 and has since been a member of The Irish Society of Chartered Physiotherapists. She has worked primarily in the area of private practice since, where her work has included treating musculoskeletal problems, spinal pain, sports injuries, neurological conditions, orthotic prescription, post-operative rehabilitation post surgery and Pilates class instruction. Since graduating, Sarah has been continually updating her clinical manual skills, obtaining qualifications in dry needling, muscle energy techniques, myofascial release, aquatic physiotherapy and orthotic assessment and prescription. She is also a qualified Stott Pilates Instructor, using her skills and knowledge of physiotherapy to assist in individually tailoring treatment, exercise and rehabilitation programmes for patients and class participants.
Sarah has a particular interest in Women’s health and pelvic complaints, including incontinence, prolapse, pelvic pain and pelvic floor dysfunction. Her goal with every patient is to improve quality of life and to assist in the re-establishment of of body control and confidence. In her spare time, she regularly participates in races from 10k to marathon distance. Sarah is also a qualified PADI Rescue Diver and a volunteer with Special Olympics Ireland.
