Cormac Bonar (MISCP)
Cormac Bonar obtained his first class honours degree in Physiotherapy from the University of East London in 2013. Since then he has worked in a variety of NHS roles prior to joining Physiocare. His work has included neurological rehab of acute post stroke patients, medical inpatients, falls rehabilitation, orthopaedics secondary care and outpatients primary care. During his time in London he participated in the medical team delivering emergency care for the London 2012 Olympics. He has experience working in emergency cover for a number of large scale events prior to returning to Ireland to enter into private practice.
He has been certified BTEC Level 5 in Sports and Remedial massage from the London School of Sports Massage which he regularly incorporates into his practice. This has led to the development of his interest in treating sports related injuries using a variety of manual techniques and focused exercise prescription. He has a keen interest in the latest training techniques and remains abreast of the latest developments in evidence based practice. He is a keen cyclist, runner and regularly practices yoga.
