We can help

To help our more mature patients increase their energy levels and wellbeing, we have designed a group class known as Fitness50 to help increase their strength and movement. This class is held on Tuesday mornings 10:30 – 11:30am for eight weeks and is limited to a maximum of eight participants in PhysioCare Blanchardstown (32 Clonsilla Road, Blanchardstown, Dublin 15). Your instructor will spend one-on-one time with you to ensure that you receive the maximum benefit possible as tailored to your individual needs. The class will begin with a warm-up using balancing and stretching movements and includes the use of foam rolling to relieve tight areas, functional and corrective exercise using therabands and Pilates techniques to assist with breathing control.

Active exercise therapy has been proven to help relieve the pain and discomfort associated with some of the most common injuries and conditions such as Arthritis and Back Pain. The Fitness50 class is held in the spacious Blanchardstown PhysioGym where class participants have the room and equipment available to get and feel better under medical supervision. The class instructor will instruct the group through warm-up and stretching stages and then work with you individually to target and painful or weak areas that are affecting your wellbeing. The benefits of the class are usually felt very quickly and after the eight week period, participants are known to feel increased strength, confidence and energy levels in their daily lives.
