Andrea Furlong completed her Physiotherapy degree in University College Dublin in 2018, where she graduated with first class honours. During her clinical work experience she has completed placements in musculoskeletal physiotherapy, spinal injuries and intensive care, as well as completing an elective placement overseas in Uganda working in paediatric neurorehabilitation. Andrea has a passion for healthcare and helping others, having trained and worked throughout university as a Carer. In addition to this she has spent a number of years working as a youth hockey coach and multi-sports coach.
Andrea has a keen interest in musculoskeletal and sports physiotherapy which has lead her to work in the area of private practice. She believes in manual therapies in conjunction with targeted exercise therapy to achieve patient-oriented goals, return to activity and function, and injury prevention. Aside from work Andrea has a keen interest in health and fitness, with a particular interest in running and Pilates, and is currently working towards attaining her qualification as a clinical Pilates instructor. Andrea works from Butterfield and Rathfarnham clinics. Andrea works from both our Rathfarnham and Butterfield clinics in Dublin.
