Kevin Sheerin (MISCP)
Kevin Sheerin qualified as a Chartered Physiotherapist in 2011 and was awarded an honours degree by Teesside University. In addition to this, he has completed a two year Sports Therapy course in Dublin. Kevin is a Senior Chartered Physiotherapist whose scope of practice is in the neck and shoulder complex (therefore mainly upper body). Since joining the PhysioCare team, Kevin has completed extensive training in the shoulder and cervical spine, dry needling and manual therapy. He is an active member of the European Society of Shoulder and Elbow Rehabilitation (EUSSER) and the British Elbow and Shoulder Society (BESS).
Kevin has a busy and varied caseload and will often deal with the more complex chronic conditions seen in the north region of Dublin. Kevin’s main areas of speciality are chronic neck pain, headaches and high level shoulder dysfunction. He is the the clinical lead and instructor of the Better Neck Programme – an active rehabilitation class held in our state-of-the-art PhysioGym. He is also a mentor and on site liaison for junior members of staff. Kevin has a belief in a holistic approach, incorporating manual therapy, positive education and extensive therapeutic exercise into his tailored patient treatment plants. Outside of work, Kevin has a passion for travelling the world and for learning about new cultures, customs and cuisines. His pastimes include crossfit and golf having also competed in MMA and rugby throughout his youth. Kevin works from both our Blanchardstown and Castleknock clinics in Dublin.
