Gabriel Coutinho is a Physiotherapist with CORU registration number PT068572, born in 1998. He has a degree in Physiotherapy from the University of Aveiro and a postgraduate degree in Sports Physiotherapy from the Cooperativa de Ensino Superior Politécnico e Universitário. He has varied interests that often don’t combine in the same person. For example, he likes off-road rides and ballet, he likes playing the guitar and climbing, coffee, vinyl records and big cities. In short, he is interested in experiencing anything that brings out something positive, without predefining what you’re “supposed” to do.

Gabriels interest in providing support worthy of the person who entrusts him with the responsibility of optimizing their level of quality of life and functionality is the fuel for the process of my professional evolution. The proof of this is the incessant search for specific knowledge of the area in his training and studies. All of this is so that the sessions can run smoothly on both sides. Thus, the prevailing feeling will be one of satisfaction, security and trust in the service provided.

He seeks to foster an honest perspective on physiotherapy. That said, I don’t offer miracle solutions, but help you understand the problem and how we can solve it together. They often say: “The job of physiotherapy is to help people not to need physiotherapy”.

Gabriel was a Taekwondo athlete and also practiced many different sports simply because he have a passion for discovering movement and the intrinsic benefits that physical exercise brings to his daily life. He would like to demonstrate different safe ways in which people can still take advantage of these benefits, in conjunction with any limitations and medical conditions they may have.

In short, in this new project, he tries to accompany the person in the best possible way so that their goals are met in a safe, parameterized way and based on the best clinical information available.
