Sinead Greenan (MISCP)

Chartered Physiotherapist

Sinead Greenan qualified with a BSc. (Honours) in Physiotherapy from Trinity College Dublin in 2014 and is a member of the Irish Society of Chartered Physiotherapists (ISCP). She spent two years working in private practices in New Zealand and Australia treating various acute and chronic musculoskeletal injuries but is now back treating patients here in PhysioCare. Sinead has also worked in the private hospital sector providing post-op treatment to patients after orthopaedic surgeries. Her work to date has included treating conditions such as spinal pain, postural dysfunction and sports injuries using manual therapy techniques, soft tissue massage and tailored exercise prescription. In addition to this, she is interested in the treatment of dancing injuries – having competed at a high level of Irish dancing herself for ten years. Common dancing injuries would include the likes of stress fractures, ankle pain and patellofemoral pain syndrome.

Sinead is also certified in APPI Ante and Post-Natal Pilates. She has a special interest in Pilates and sees the benefits of using Pilates as a treatment tool, having taught mat and equipment-based classes in the past. Pilates class is held in both our Blanchardstown and Carrickmines clinics; but you can also have a one-to-one Pilates session with a Chartered Physiotherapist in a private and spacious treatment room in our clinics. In her spare time she enjoys volunteering for animal shelters and was an RSPCA volunteer in Australia. She also enjoys keeping fit by cycling and attending the gym regularly.
