Casey Lazar
CORU Certified Physiotherapist | BSc Physiotherapy, BSc Psychology, PGDip Interprofessional Mental Health
Casey is a CORU certified physiotherapist who graduated from The Netherlands’ Saxion University with a BSc in Physiotherapy in 2024. During his education, Casey developed a proficiency in the latest evidence-based practices, something which he strives to provide his patients with in order to treat them most effectively. Prior to studying physiotherapy, Casey earned a BSc in Psychology from the University of Victoria in his home, Canada, as well as a Post-Graduate Diploma in Interprofessional Mental Health. He has worked in the psychology field for ten years before pursuing a career in physiotherapy.
Casey is very excited to be a part of the PhysioCare team and use his knowledge and experience to offer you the best care possible.
A world of experience
Casey has experience working within the healthcare systems from a number of countries all around the world including Canada, The Netherlands, Scotland, Finland, Australia, New Zealand, and now Ireland. He has treated everything from football injuries in Finland, to sore backs in Scotland, and even animal attacks in Australia. While the last example may be much less common here in Ireland, this global experience has shown Casey how different perspectives inform the delivery of physiotherapy, and helps him cater his treatment to you and your life.
