Research and evidence has proven that exercise therapy helps you get and feel better if you are suffering from a wide range of injures and conditions such as back, hip and neck pain. But if exercises are completed incorrectly with poor form and poor posture, you will not receive the full benefit from them and you will not maximise your outcome. Here at PhysioCare, we want to make sure that our patients receive the maximum benefit from exercising and so we run the Corrective Exercise Class from our Blanchardstown location. This is held in our purpose built PhysioGym location and there is a maximum of eight participants per class. This allows for the instructor to spend one-on-one time with you in the class to tailor the exercises to your particular needs.

If you are suffering from aches and pains, tightness and soreness, Corrective Exercise can help. It consists of a combination of movements and exercises that focus on releasing tension in muscles and increasing flexibility by featuring foam rolling, stretching and strengthening of the weaker muscle groups. It aims to help reduce pain and increase mobility from day one. Phase 1 will focus on foam rolling to release tension in the muscles and rejuvenate the tissues. Phase 2 will focus on stretching to increase flexibility in the muscles. Phase 3 will focus on strengthening the weak muscles in the body to improve alignment. Patients can expect to feel the benefits straight away.

The class is held twice a week in Blanchardstown (32 Clonsilla Road, Dublin 15) and there is a beginner’s level and a maintenance level.
