A Neurofen ad was recently banned over misleading claims that the painkiller could specifically target back and joint pain. After complains about this misleading nature were made, the UK Advertising Standards Authority banned the ad and were in agreement “Because the ad implied the product had a special mechanism which meant it specifically targeted back and joint pain, and was especially effective at relieving those sources of pain, when that was not the case, we concluded that it was misleading.”

For a proven treatment that can target and focus on your back and joint pain, you have to look no further than to Physiotherapy Treatment. After you discuss your symptoms with your Chartered Physiotherapist at PhysioCare, they make sure to target and treat this to help you get and feel better. A personal treatment plan will also be created and implemented to ensure that you get back on track to normal and pain-free function again.

We have a range of services available to help you get and feel better and to target your pain. Depending on your individual case, Physiotherapy Treatment may be administered in tandem with Massage Therapy, Acupuncture/Dry Needling, Orthotics or even Exercise Therapy in the PhysioGym. In fact, each and every patient receives a complimentary home exercise plan to complete in between their sessions which helps to self-manage pain when it strikes. These exercises are also available to view for free on YouTube (click here) with step-by-step guided instructions to make sure that you are completing these correctly.

Painkillers and anti-inflammatory medication can take the edge off your pain and discomfort, but they will never fully heal it if you are suffering from an injury or condition. The highly skilled clinical team treat a wide and varied caseload and work to help you get and feel better with research and evidence-based Physiotherapy Treatment. Our five clinics across Dublin have early to late appointment slots available from Monday – Saturday. “Earlier this year my back went out when I was lifting a few boxes around the garage. PhysioCare helped me manage my pain over the first few bad days. After that I was started on a really good strengthening program. My back normally feels tired at the end of a long day on the building site but since I started my new program its been feeling much stronger.” – Tom, Knocklyon (Physiotherapy Patient)
